Agricultural Company S.r.l. based in Roreto di Cherasco (CN), it is located in Piedmont and has been operating in the sector since 1956; was born as a company in the primary sector for breeding and production of feed, and then extended its business also to processing (slaughtering, cutting and third processing).

Born in Codigoro in 1928, the founder Giancarlo Simoni started his business in 1952 with the aim of producing livestock foods in order to obtain high quality poultry products. In 1956 he won the first prize and gold medal at the Varese Poultry Days for producing the best Italian chicken. In the entrepreneur’s long career there have been many significant and satisfying statements, including being one of the founders of the U.N.A. (National Union of Aviculture), of the A.M.A. (Poultry Slaughterers Association), as well as playing a leading role in the entire Italian poultry sector. He is currently a founding member of Unaitalia, which has always been associated with Confagricoltura.
Currently, the staff amounts to over 420 units, and all operators are properly trained both in safety (Legislative Decree 81) and in the health and hygiene sector through specific training courses and on-the-job training.
